GOD Has Spoken

It is time for you to get up! Stop dragging! Enjoy the day! Rain or Shine! Don’t give up! Celebrate who you are in Christ. Turn off the TV and listen to GOD speak to your heart.

I AM GOD and I am in complete control of everything.

I AM aware of what is currently taking place in this world. Lives have been lost and jobs are on the line. Get close to me! Under the shelter of my wings I will protect you. There were others before you who questioned the reason for their sufferings. It is not strange that you too have questions. You have been confused, fearful and even angry, but that will never stop me from being GOD. I know how you are feeling. I know that you are afraid. You have lost a lot, but you have not lost me. Hold On to me, not the things you are afraid of losing in this world. My love and faithfulness toward you, my children are unchangeable. I AM here working on your behalf. As dark as it may seem to you, I will work all things together for your good. In Jeremiah 29:11, “I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope”. The thief comes to rob, steal and destroy, I have come that you may have life, and have it in full. You are allowing what you see happening in this world to be the final word. I alone have the final word. My question to you, “who will you believe.” Maybe you need to be reminded of the Creator of the universe. Are you ready?

The Lord spoke to me from Job chapter 38. In this Book of the bible, Job had three questions for GOD.

  • The first question Job had, “Why was I born? Why have GOD given me life only to send me such suffering now?
  • The second question Job had was, “How can man be just with God?”
  • The third question Job has was, “If a man die shall he live again?”

Like Job and like many of us, I too had questions for God. Job was trying to understand the reason for his sufferings. Why had he lost so much? We too are desperately trying to find our own answers to the dilemma we are facing as a nation.

Suffering causes us to sometimes question God. When this happens, GOD is the answer. There is always a deeper desire to talk to GOD when we are suffering. We desire to know and understand the reason for our sufferings. In the end, it will bring us closer to GOD.

Let us no longer look to man, but let us look to GOD. God is constantly reminding me who He is. And now, finally, GOD answers Job from the eye of a violent storm. From Job Chapter 38, He is also answering us as we seek answers for the darkness that surrounds us as a nation.

1 Then the LORD answered Job from the whirlwind: 2 “Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorant words? 3 Brace yourself like a man, because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them. 4 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much. 5 Who determined its dimensions and stretched out the surveying line? 6 What supports its foundations, and who laid its cornerstone 7 as the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy? 8 “Who kept the sea inside its boundaries as it burst from the womb, 9 and as I clothed it with clouds and wrapped it in thick darkness? 10 For I locked it behind barred gates, limiting its shores. 11 I said, ‘This far and no farther will you come. Here your proud waves must stop!’ 12 “Have you ever commanded the morning to appear and caused the dawn to rise in the east? 13 Have you made daylight spread to the ends of the earth, to bring an end to the night’s wickedness? 14 As the light approaches, the earth takes shape like clay pressed beneath a seal; it is robed in brilliant colors. 15 The light disturbs the wicked and stops the arm that is raised in violence. 16 “Have you explored the springs from which the seas come? Have you explored their depths? 17 Do you know where the gates of death are located? Have you seen the gates of utter gloom? 18 Do you realize the extent of the earth? Tell me about it if you know! 19 “Where does light come from, and where does darkness go? 20 Can you take each to its home? Do you know how to get there? 21 But of course you know all this! For you were born before it was all created, and you are so very experienced! 22 “Have you visited the storehouses of the snow or seen the storehouses of hail? 23 (I have reserved them as weapons for the time of trouble, for the day of battle and war.) 24 Where is the path to the source of light? Where is the home of the east wind? 25 “Who created a channel for the torrents of rain? Who laid out the path for the lightning? 26 Who makes the rain fall on barren land, in a desert where no one lives? 27 Who sends rain to satisfy the parched ground and make the tender grass spring up? 28 “Does the rain have a father? Who gives birth to the dew? 29 Who is the mother of the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens? 30 For the water turns to ice as hard as rock, and the surface of the water freezes. 31 “Can you direct the movement of the stars— binding the cluster of the Pleiades or loosening the cords of Orion? 32 Can you direct the constellations through the seasons or guide the Bear with her cubs across the heavens? 33 Do you know the laws of the universe? Can you use them to regulate the earth? 34 “Can you shout to the clouds and make it rain? 35 Can you make lightning appear and cause it to strike as you direct? 36 Who gives intuition to the heart and instinct to the mind? 37 Who is wise enough to count all the clouds? Who can tilt the water jars of heaven 38 when the parched ground is dry and the soil has hardened into clods? 39 “Can you stalk prey for a lioness and satisfy the young lions’ appetites 40 as they lie in their dens or crouch in the thicket? 41 Who provides food for the ravens when their young cry out to God and wander about in hunger?

God is the Creator of the universe. There is NOTHING HE cannot do. His word has brought me peace. I will not trust man for the answers. They are searching for truth just like we are. Don’t stand on your jobs, bank accounts, stock markets, your education or your status. They will not keep you from falling. GOD is the only one who can and will sustain us. Everything else is sinking sand. I pray He has spoken to your heart. Trust in GOD always. All power and dominion belong to Him alone. Look to GOD with HOPE. Lift up your eyes unto the hills, from where our help comes from. Our help comes from the LORD which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer your foot to be moved.

In conclusion, I leave you with Isaiah 41:10 and Isaiah 43:19.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your GOD. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:19

The LORD has spoken!

Father, thank you once again for reminding us all of who you are. You are our shepherd. We praise you and honor you all the days of our lives. Thank you for being longsuffering towards us. I can hear you say to all of your children, “Ye of Little Faith”. Father increase our faith. I pray that each of us, today will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe in Him. Amen
